YouTube Creators and Sponsorships
I have to be honest and share with the two readers of this blog that I’ve recently put in a lot of time into creating YouTube videos and trying to build a following. A following is the audience in marketing speak.
Anyway, creating these videos has also led me to watch more of my favorite content creators on YouTube. Their topics range from Mac automation like my channel all the way through topics such as the Linux operating system. I was reading the Wall Street Journal a few days ago and discovered that one of my favorite YouTuber’s (MKBHD) ads appears on the Journal’s website.

These are all dbrand sponsorships, which is awesome but having your ads appear on WSJ.com, that’s when you know you’ve made it. Again, these ads are for his products that he’s selling through a dbrand sponsorship.
